I used Becker, I studied probably close to 150 hrs for each of them…. I was studying full time for about 4 weeks for both of them…. might have been a bit more for FAR and a bit less for BEC, I never kept track of my hours unfortunately…. I had to supplement with my cost accounting notes from a few semesters ago for BEC. I know a lot of people rave about Yaeger here and will switch if I fail AUD. Are you going to sit for FAR/BEC before the end of the year?

    FAR 7/2 - 88
    BEC 7/30 - 87
    AUD 8/27 - 80
    REG 11/12 - 96

I bought the Wiley book already for REG, I'm hoping for the best on AUD and am taking no risks with REG. I also feel like Becker does not update their materials frequently enough and they don't elaborate a lot of things….

    FAR 7/2 - 88
    BEC 7/30 - 87
    AUD 8/27 - 80
    REG 11/12 - 96

Ok, I have got a stupid question. Jeff says Oklahoma is an independent state, but when I called Oklahoma for my BEC in wave one they said that NASBA automatically put the scores on their website and that Oklahoma did not find out the scores until they were mailed to them later. So is OK a independent or a NASBA state, OK never said anything about receiving their scores directly from the AICPA, but instead said they were uploaded straight from NASBA. I have only received my scores by going to the exam record on the OK site. How do you check your scores through the NASBA site, not sure if I can though since, I am not sure what kind of state I am for sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    BEC 7/20/10 88 (90 hours)
    AUD 8/27/10 73 (65 hours), retake 11/22/10 81 (75 hours)
    FAR 10/28/10 80 (157 hours)
    REG 1/7/10 extended to 1/17/10 78 (130 hours) I'M DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hey guys,

New to the forum, though I've been lurking here for the past month….anxiously awaiting Aud score release..was my 1st cpa exam so far, hoping for a miracle, though I do believe I studied as hard as I could, and didn't feel miserable after the exam..here's hoping for the best!

This Forum's been super useful tried the Ga, loophole a couple of times today (I'm from Ga) and it gave me a msg saying all parts of the exam were still under process, anyone know what that means?

For BEC, I used Gleim. Took the 3 days prior to Thanksgiving off and crammed for 50 hours and ended up passing with an 81. It was my first exam and I was so nervous…I think I was lucky with the distribution of my questions. I think if you do every Gleim question you will def be prepared. The book gives too many details than what you need to learn, but that's not a bad thing.

If you fail AUD, I would not recommend the Yaegar cram. The guy is horrible for that one. I did use the Cram for FAR and REG and def recommend both of them. Passed FAR on first shot with an 80 and 80 hours of studying. Got a 74 before REG cram and passed one window later with an 86. Put in about 75 hours the first go (took exam 4/24) and about 50 hours the second time (exam date 7/30). Hope this helps! Almost game time…
