I studied for aprox 3 weeks full time- (8 hours per day). I used Gleim Book.

BEC took me less than half of the time comparing with FAR.

I would advice you to really focus on cost accounting- variance analysis and IT.

@Argentina-CPA: I have my accounting degree from Universidad Nacional de Entre Rios.

I really like living here in the heat ;), but I missed my family & friends a lot! Hopefully I will go visit them by the end of the year..

I wish I could find an argentinian accountant here to work with! 😉 What about you, are you currently working?

About the CPA exams I found the material not as harder as I expected, I think that it's just a matter of putting in the time to read/ watch the lectures..etc. plus I'm using BECKER and I think that it's great.

I started with BEC because is the only part that does not have writing communication, and once I took that one I felt more comfortable and now I'm studiyng for FAR.

Hope you have a great time in Argentina!!!! Enjoy it! ( si fuera vos estaria comiendo empanadas y milanesas todos los dias!!! 😉 )

by the way my name is Vanesa.. 😉

@Cristian 2823- I studied for 3 weeks without taking days off, but I always feel that I need to study more than the rest so probably you are fine with less time.

I was looking for some opinions. I have Yeager review and find that there is minimal information in the lectrue outside of telling you to read this and read that. I think workng problems is great when you have to solve a problem, but does not really work with this topic. Is it like that for the whole 16 hours? I also have becker final review notes and started with that to get a basic understanding. Which would be the best way to go just use the becker notes and Wiley book for weak areas, or is there any benefit to the lecture?

    AUD is scheduled for 8/26.

    FAR - 95
    AUD - 82
    REG - 94
    BEC - 84
