For people who didn’t pass audit which area was your weakest? For those who are studying which topics are you having the most difficulty with?

risk assessment is killing my nerves!!! I have a week left so im sure ill study them until im saying it in my sleep but this is the only area really were I struggle everything else I think i kno or can fine tune to get my confidence up more!!

GAGAS, any kind of governmental accounting makes me sick, same thing with financial, so weak in NFP and governmental.

what is ur issue with GAGAS its pretty standard like a normal audit just some added procedures to be performed or looked at.

I passed, but one particular thing that stands out in my mind are the flowcharts. I didn't quite understand it in college, and I didn't quite understand it while studying for the CPA exams.

You want to hear something weird about flowcharts. I am using Schweser for the CPA and I have already did all of the flowchart questions even though I haven't received the book in the mail. I got a 100% on them the first time through. Suprised the dickens out of me! 🙂

Probably REPORTS!! I am in Internal Audit…so all the reports are completely foreign to me! Everything else is complicated, but I can eventually make sense of it.

I don't know either, I thought I get it, the big thing is the single audit and the compliance with laws and reg. but when it comes to the Becker questions, I don't know, every answer seems right to me 🙁 I don't know if I will ever get GAGAS.

the worst and most difficult section has got to be audit evidence and GAGAS. I think I'm like most people and dont want to really focus on A5
