Just looked at my audit score with great anticipation only to see a phat 57 slap me in the face. I was shocked, embarrassed for myself and just down right depressed. I had studied for 2 months and put in over 100 hours worth or study time. I used Becker to study and truly thought I had a strong grasp on the material. I was scoring between 65-90s on all of the multiple choice hw and quiz’s. Im honestly just confused at this point. I thought the test had gone fairly well. MC was straight forward and the SIMS were tough but i thought i did ok on them. I would love to here some advice on how to go at this again. Failing just makes me want to pass more. PLEASE HELP..

Keep your head up. Instead of getting upset and depressed when i got a 74, i got angry and made sure I was going to make audit my btch next time I took it. I restudied everything in Becker and focused on areas that caused me the most problems. I also bought the wiley test bank, and found the extra thousand or so questions in addition to sims to be helpful. Felt overprepared and confident during and leaving test. Study for it like its your first time, and seeing the material for the third and fourth time really make a difference.

I changed my approach for the third time on AUD. I didn't rewrite all of my notes…just the areas where I was weak. And I used Gleim Online and their testbank. I also used cpareviewforfree.com and bought their question packet and notes. Did all of their questions and read their notes. .

As you can see, I threw everything but the kitchen sink at this retake and it paid off…passed with 90.

Practice MCQs everyday, all day. Practice SIMS…you can't really prepare for SIMS but it's just another way to review and soak in the information.

    FAR Passed
    REG Passed
    AUD Passed
    BEC Passed

All aboard, this train's leaving. Next stop, TBD!

Hang in there…I had no experience in audit and only on class in college, which wasnt my finest, so heading in i was stressed out about this section. I ended up studying 7 weeks about 4 hours a day. I would say the biggest thing for me was doing MC over and over again. Things seemed to click for me as I worked through more questions.

I also made flash cards and went through a chapter a day while at the gym for review.

    Good luck

    BEC - 2/13 - 87
    Audit - 4-16 - 99
    Reg - 5-29 - 94
    Far- 8-13 - 97

I use becker self-study, final review, flash cards, wiley test bank, and I make my own flash cards using studyblue.com
