Audit Retake Question?

Curious what the opinion for rewatching lectures (Becker) is for a retest? I took the exam last year and moved on to other parts since I already payed for them. I find I learned the most from going through the book myself, albeit it was the second time through the book (the first time with the lectures).

What are thoughts on just reviewing the book? Also I have 2011 audit material, is that huge deal?

I'd pick up a 2012 Wiley book at the bookstore, and maybe get a cram course from Roger or Yaeger. I would not recommend going back over the old material…you'll get bored. Good Luck.

Get the Wiley Test Bank from this site for a different look at the material. It's not that much more expensive than the book and you don't have to drive or wait for shipping.

CPAss, I am pretty much the same as you. Failed audit, moved on to other sections and then retook it. I also studied by reading the book with the lectures and then rereading it again. I still used the 2011 becker material and I thought it was good enough for the test this year. The second time around I did a lot more multiple choice questions. On test day, I slowed down to make sure I understood exactly what the question was asking since I knew that 4 hours was plenty of time for me. Just my experience, anyway!
