I got my score notification today and scored STRONG on SIMS and WEAK on MC. I am planning on taking exam mid-January. Any thoughts on what I could differently for my retake?

What review course you are using? I will say make sure you take intensive notes. I rewrote flash cards many times.

    I used beckers.

For my first take I watched the videos, did MCQs, and practice the SIMS a little bit. For the retake I took the Ninja notes and added my own notes from reading the book and for any MCQ I got wrong to it in the margins and whatnot, I listened to Ninja audio nearly every day. I bought the WTB instead of just using the Kaplan test bank and I practiced all the SIMS (40 total). I rewrote all of my notes and Ninja notes once before test time. I practiced note cards every so often. AND most importantly I actually utilized the Authoritative Literature on the actual exam. I was able to find a couple of my SIMS word for word using that method. I did not rewatch the videos or look at my notes from the videos even though it had been 5 months since I had watched them to prepare for my first take. I raised my score 20 points.

Wow. That's a first! Seems like you know the material. Perhaps try to read the questions more carefully next time? Seems to me you missed some of them because you didn't pay attention to all the wording in the questions…but that's just my guess… you didn't specify which topics you did weaker on… maybe review especially those topics.

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
