Okay, I need help :/ For those of you that used Becker to review, how did you study this portion of the chapter..it’s Chapter 4 part 3 of the 2011 materials. It just seems like so much information and when I do the multiple choice questions I feel so lost. Tips from Becker Students and Non-Becker would be greatly appreciated!

These questions took my husband and me the longest to do on a per question basis than any of the other questions in the entire audit study question set. Since it's 121 questions, we both noticed that we did really poorly the first half of those questions, but once we got the hang of it we made up for it the second half. The hard part about them is that the book/lectures only give you the facts, so you just have sit and carefully think through each question. It took me a little over 3 hours to get through those questions and my husband over 4 hours. I wish I could give you better advice.

I really wish Becker would have broke that out a little better.. Just read through the section carefully.. Definitely read through it again before you sit for the exam. Really understand those questions..

By the way :

in Aud 4-19, under 3.d Understandability and Classification, the definition is incorrect.

Don't rush through the test.. take your time.. that was my mistake when I first took AUD.. I didn't really READ the MCQ-read every word. I did better than others on Sims, but poorly than others on MCQ which made me miss that 75!!! Now I've learned my lesson 🙂

I always thought SIMS is what made me not get that “perfect” grade.. I can't believe I did “better than others” on sims! frustrating.. i wish I could go back..

CPA Someday – our stories sound similar. I finished AUD an hour early and my score report showed that the MCQ is where I messed up. I scored better than other passing testers on the sims, Very frustrating in hindsight.

Reading the MCQs carefully is a good use of time!

Yup! I'm sure the 11,000 people taking AUD in the 2nd wave didn't help either!!! When are you retaking yours?

I am retaking mine today, and I feel less prepared than I did last time. Perhaps I'm experiencing burnout on the whole CPA exam experience.

Good Luck Tulip!!! I was feeling like you.. I took a total of 5 days off of work just to try to focus better..

Studying again (after a month or two off) was horrible and I burned myself out.. I did all 4 exams in 6 months! I see you did it in a short amount of time too! We are very similiar!

I feel better now, that I took additional time off of work. Let me know how you do today!!!

Good luck. Reading some of these posts I am concerned, because I thought the AUD MC questions were on the easier side. I thought I read them through pretty well. I found the Sims to be much harder than what I practiced
