Started studying for Audit today and I have only read 7 pages all day. I am using Becker. It is soooo boring. I cant differentiate one sentence from another..it all seems the same. Please tell me it gets better soon and I will start making sense of it all soon.

Those of you who have done Audit or who are studying for it right now, how did you overcome the dreadfully boring text? I am writing everything down in hopes that might help something sink in. I know accounting is no walk in the park but this is beyond boring. I recently took an audit class in school and that text was def tolerable. Becker Audit- not so much! I am just hoping it will become a bit interesting soon.

@ CPA Soon I agree. The material in FAR is almost never ending lol. There is always something and then you're hit with Government, non profit!

@nycaccountant it's like you get to the end of the course and you're like wait, npf and gov, you mean the first 1000 pages of material is not sufficient? I swear nfp and gov should go with like BEC or something.
