Right now, all I can do is take numerous breaks to keep from falling asleep from boredom. I don’t know how I’m going to take all of this in if I don’t figure out a way to stay interested.

Its not that you're bored. There is no such thing as boredom. You lack interest bro. Like many of us. We're doing it for a steady paycheck. If you did something u liked, you wouldn't be bored. You chose this path so you gotta grind through it.

^^ Nicely put. I agree I'm not interested in audit at all–though, operating cycles was a welcoming lesson. Also, I DEFINITELY like the idea of a steady paycheck, and I really enjoy different aspects of accounting–just NOT audit! Who knows maybe I'll be talking about how disinterested I am when I'm studying for the next section LOL. Back to the videos I go.

Audit is far and away the most boring section. I enjoyed BEC and REG for what it was.

I agree – super boring. I have to read out loud to concentrate. I found studying for FAR much more interesting, although the amount of information was overwhelming.

Yes! After last night, I realized that studying after nightfall is an absolute no go. This section must be completed by way of studying in the wee hours of the morning (when I'm WIDE awake and vibrant), on my way to work, and during my lunch break. I'll have to get very create this time.

I work in internal auditing, so I actually am enjoying the material since there is a little crossover. It's a lot more fun if you can find application.

I have nearly five years experience and the majority in Audit. I was thoroughly enjoying the exam material 100+ hours ago. I scored a 71 on December 5th, when I had 100% on multiple choice and had passed nearly all of the simulations at least once or twice. I've only been studying again for three days and I'm already feeling depressed. What if I get a test as terrible as last time? The multiple choice were harder than any I studied and I had two very long simulations on derivatives. 🙁

FOREM: Your comment made me nervous. out of all the study material, AUD by far seems easiest. the homework questions seem easy too. Do you think you rushed through the questions on the actual exam or the questions were just very tricky. I see members failing many times but I also see members with abnormal high scores for audit.

Some parts of business law in REG were way more boring than AUD.

Same here! I thought I am interested on audit but I changed my mind while studying it. It so boring! I accidentally miss FAR and REG. I was not expecting that to be honest.
