Good, now that I’ve gotten your attention…

I’ve got Audit in a little over 2 weeks. At this point I’ve gone through all the Becker lectures, MC, and read the book. Now I’m going back and skimming over all the chapters to refresh my memory while going over all the MC questions that I got wrong the first time. In addition to this, I’ve been doing progress tests everyday and getting in the 80s on them. I feel relatively well prepared, except for the SIMS. Any suggestions? I’m just hoping that by continuing to do MC questions and understanding the topics, the SIMS will start coming easier to me. I also heard that the MC questions on the exam are very similar to the ones from Becker so continuing to do MC is probably a very good idea. So for this last 2 week grind, does anyone have suggestions about the best way to spend my time? MC until I puke?

Thanks everyone, and just for some clarification, audit is most certainly not a joke 🙂

For me I didn't study my audit sims. As long as I understood all of the concepts, I thought I'd do fine for sims so I passed on studying them. In my case, it worked out great. I was able to do my sims without practicing a single one. What really helped me was listening to Roger's lectures over and over to really beat the concepts into my head.

Just like what you're doing, I went over all of the harder MC questions before the exam.

From what I'm reading, I think you'll do fine.

Have you done cpareviewforfree multiple choice questions? If not, i i suggest you do it. You will do much better on the real exam. Doing progress tests and getting 80's is ok, since you have seen the questions before. Try different questions and that will test your knowledge and understanding…

Make sure to utilize the Research tab for the sims. I destroyed the MCQ's, I actually felt like the AICPA was joking because all three testlets were extremely easy. Turns out the joke was on me as I did awesome on the MCQ but totally bombed the sims. I had not been on this site until after I took audit, so I did not know the “exam tricks”. #1 trick/tip: Use the research tab for all of the sims!

    Good luck!

are you utilizing only becker for mc? I was getting in the 80s my first time through becker's mcqs and ended up failing with a 61. I recommend going through wiley questions if you can.
