Just took the Becker Simulated Exam (not the final exam). Got 94%. That dang tran cycles, still keeps messing me up.

Took the final exam #1 yesterday and got 83.

Plan till the exam:

Get some food, fresh air, etc…

Drive to the testing center

Go over my ratios (hate those)

Notes I took over MCQs I got wrong

Scan over the Tran cycles

and Note cards (if time permits).

Trying so hard not to freak out, and hope I have good experience to share with you all.

I failed every AUD practice exam before taking the real test and ended up passing. I don't put any stock in those practice tests. I'd rather fail them all and go in their with no confidence than do well on the practice tests and go in there being overconfident and bomb. But thats just me. I think a little fear and nervousness keeps me on my toes and I do a little better.

I never become overconfident before my exams, and rightly so…considering my scores haha! And this wasn't different, I got to the test center two hours before my exam and studied in my car until I went in.

Now onto the test….

OMG, that was soooo hard. I should've passed the last time…that exam was PIECE OF CAKE compared to this one and I studied way more for this one.

It seemed like every testlet was medium/difficult and stayed pretty consistent. I found the last one to be easier because there were a lot of similar questions from Becker. I don't know if it was because I didn't do well on other two or because I had done those MCQs 5x before and knew them really well. Only time will tell….

SIMS were difficult, but not entirely impossible…except one involving J/Es, I know I got that wrong. I couldn't find anything on research tab regarding it:( I'm sure I got the research question right (after taking 30mins or so search for it). Out of the other five, I felt okay on 2-3 of them.

Just had to update you guys:) I honestly don't know what score to expect, and I'm not gonna try to.

I'm so confused. Apparently there are two hopefulcpa's. Anyway, I'm sure you did well.

Would you recommend that we put off AUD (if we can) until we've at least read over FAR so we have a chance at j/e's?

haha yeah I noticed that, but I'm hopefulcpa28, other one doesn't have any numbers at the end of it.

I would love it if I pass. Even though I was sad when I failed last times, it was my fault…I wasn't serious about studying nor was I dedicated. But this time was different. I don't know how else I could study differently next time. There were only couple questions where I was like, “dang, what was the answer? I remember reading it…” Everything else that I didn't get was like, “seriously? I NEVER saw this.”

About taking FAR before AUD, that's what I'm gonna do if I fail…oo yikes, let's not be too negative. But in all fairness, it was only one SIM, and it could be a pretest. If you already started studying, I wouldn't postpone it to study for FAR.
