Every time I look at people’s grades there are multiple failed audit grades at least 3-5 failing grades and their passing grade is from 85-99? What do you guys do to boost your grade so much? I failed audit 3 times already with a 64, 69, and 71. What makes these people not only pass but pass so easily?

I think sometimes it can just take that many times to get the material down. But for my with FAR I added other study material. I had been using Becker and since that wasn't working by itself I added NINJA notes, Wiley test bank and Becker Final Review. You can also look at the way you study and see if there is any place for improvement.

Onmyway – Maybe I should start thinking about supplementing with other forms of material, I use Becker for now.

MCLKT – Haha, what a crazy story! That is so great and I thought I was studying hard!

I feel pretty comfortable with the material my only problem I am struggling with are the management assertions, completeness, Cut-off, valuation & allocation, Existence, Understandability. Any tips on how to hammer these into my brain. When I do the becker questions it is not sticking and the book isnt helping much either. What was the best way you learned how to understand the assertions?

Ninja notes/audio. Search the forum for threads discussing those topics.

Google 🙂

You might need it explained in different ways to really grasp the concept.

I learned it all for the exam and then flushed it out of my brain to make room for FAR concepts. So… I'm no good for the specifics. Maybe if I can find my notes? But really, you can't just focus on the weak areas. You have to prepare like you need 75 more points. Not just the 4, 6, 11 that have held you back.
