I’m not going to make the deadline to take the Audit exam by 5/31, which means I will have to take it after 7/1 when the new rules go into effect. I have the Becker material for 2012 and was wondering if that will be able to help me pass or should I go ahead and spend more money for the updated version? How much difference do you think there will be in the material between the two versions? How should I prepare for the changes in Audit?

I'm taking AUD in July. I ended up buying Becker 2013 version B. You can just supplement what you have with the updates but I thought it would be too time consuming and confusing to figure out what was in and what was out going back and forth between my 2011 materials and the updates. I hated forking over more dollars but if I'm going to spend all this time studying I'd rather learn what is actually used then spend time learning what is about to be obsolete. Totally agree with @CPA_Driven…BUT, according to Becker both old and new CSO will be tested for the foreseeable future. Meaning you do need to know the 10 GAAS standards, old Report formats,etc. in addition to the newly updated Clarified SAS's.
