Hi, I just finished chapter 2 of audit using Becker. Is it possible to study chapters 3. 4 and 5 in 3 weeks? I am taking the test on OCT 11. Please let me know your comments.

Yes it is possible, but you need time for review. Christian you are cutting it close. Also did you change it up since your last time that you took it? Also make sure you do a couple hundred mcq's.

    FAR 7/2 - 88
    BEC 7/30 - 87
    AUD 8/27 - 80
    REG 11/12 - 96

What do you mean by cutting it close? HAHAHA I don't understand.

I will leave 1 week for final review.

Just make sure you do all of the MCQ I also used Gleim and felt that was helpful. The hardest part of a re-take is being as thoroughlas needed. Just loooking at the exam performance analysis and hitting the weaker areas may prepare you for the last exam – but the next exam will be different and you need to be prepared for everything.

welcome- learnewd this the hard way – made a 73 on BEC – focused most of my attention on what I thought I had been weak in and the next test was so very different! Good luck.

Most of the last week before AUD I just did Becker and Gleim MCQ. Also, I took the Final Exam and worked on any weak areas. Since you passed FAR that should help you on the Financial Statement section of AUD.

    Good luck!

Well from what it sounds you are going to have to really cram 3 chapters in 2 weeks to give yourself some time to review, and that is a lot unless you can devote to studying full time….

    FAR 7/2 - 88
    BEC 7/30 - 87
    AUD 8/27 - 80
    REG 11/12 - 96

Try to be realistic. What is background in auditing? Have you had two or three auditing classes in college? If you can make an 80% or better on Becker's final exam or on Gleim's Online final exam, you are ready to take the AUD exam.

Depends on your study habits. I was able to complete all AUD lectures within a week and a half and felt like I did decent on the exam. Each day I would watch the lecture and complete all the homework. After finishing all the lectures I went back and read every chapter and reworked all homework questions. Good luck!

    FAR - 90 7/29/2010
    BEC - 90 8/10/2010
    AUD - 92 8/31/2010
    REG - XX 10/3/2010

Are you still planning on testing on Oct 11 – 15? – per your original post. If so, that is almost 25 – 30 days. Yes, you can get it done in that time.

I have exactly 4 weeks to study. Is that enough??? I need to pass this part. The one thing that I cannot understand is how I passed FAR and not AUD. Well, I did not practice any MCQ. But I did understand the material. I scored a 71. I need 4 points to pass. I am starting to lose motivation and starting to panic a little bit.

You must practice mc. This is key to passing. I worked all Becker and Wiley questions for my retake, and it obviously worked. Didn't hardly touch sims on retake. Make sure you thoroughly read and understand questions you are working.

    AUD - 74, 87; BEC - 84; FAR - 78; REG - 79
    It's done, Son!
