Hi all,

I was wondering what the differences are between Audit 2013 and Audit 2014. I have the audit 2013 book for becker and have ordered the 2014 version (it was only $15), however, I want to start studying now. I dont want to waste too much time studying old material so I was wondering if anyone knew exactly what the differences are between the 2014 and 2013 tests. Thanks!

thats great help. I have the 2013 materials and dont know if there are like big updates that would affect since I plan to retake it in January!

I was pleasantly surprised that Becker upgrades the books for just 15 dollars a piece if your still within the year and a half study period. I went ahead and spent 45 dollars to get all of the 2014 books but FAR.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

If you have a Becker 2013 material and are taking Audit for example, will you only need to purchase the new book? Wouldn't that mean all of your MCQ's and lectures on the software are still useless? Or are there free updates for 2014 MCQs and lectures.

@ Yeti, there are free 2014 updates for the lectures on the software also. I updated last night and when you update you can still revert back to the 2013 lectures if you want. I know they moved the first topic from Chapter 2, the Quality control Standards to Chapter 6 to lessen the amount of material in that chapter.
