Hi All-

I am trying to acquire material for the audit updates from Becker, and have been unable to do so…I spoke with someone there and she made it seem like I had to pay $560 for the update, and I tried explaining to her what I needed, and she sent me a link to the old material I already had… so outside of the NINJA material I have no review lectures or MCQ’s on it….I’m not exactly sure on what I need so could someone lead me in the right direction? Thanks!

If you have the updated ninja material (free updates), you should be ok with a 2012 course.

they might want you to pay the big bucks to get the 2013 material. To make you feel better, I spent a lot of time trying to make a distinction between the old and new standards and it was a total NON-factor on the exam. Although I didn't use Ninja, I would bet its enough.

Go Hawks-So would you recommend really hammering home the old reporting standards, and just the main concepts of the clarity standards?

@DizzySells, you can start by hammering home either one, then note the differences between the two– just in case, Most questions would still have the same answer whether its clarity standards or the old reports, maybe just different wording like unmodified vs unqualified. KeithPC16 has old material so he should try to find something to compare, I'm just sating its not worth getting the 2013 Becker for it.

the reports are still conceptually the same, which is most important. like, the same things will make them qualified or adverse/disclaim, and that's most likely what they will focus on.

I means chapters that are still the same on 2012 and 2013.

chap 1 and 2 will have the differences regarding the audit report, that is the difference between the two. If you have 2012, a basic supplement like Ninja would probably be your cheapest addition. I would guess the other chapters are relatively the same.

this link notes some items in 2013 that still require knowledge from the old material.
