AUD – What was your review strategy?

So as I anticipate my review schedule for AUD, I admit that I’m a bit lost as to how to go about it. I slacked off a good bit during my review time for FAR, and although I ended up passing I want to make sure I do it right this time.

Currently I’m thinking (I will have about three weeks to review prior to exam day):

    1) 8-9 days to review chapters, redo homeworks, etc.

    2) after that is done, take practice test #1

    3) Based on results of practice test #1, redo problems from areas of weakness

    4) Then practice test #2

    5) Progress tests/research question drill until exam day.

Does this sound reasonable? Does anyone else have a method that they thought was especially helpful? I’m using Becker if that helps. Also, I don’t find flash cards to be very helpful for me.

    Thanks in advance!

    FAR - 92 (7/13)
    AUD - 98 (10/13)
    REG - 92 (7/14)
    BEC - 95 (8/14)

I did several progress tests/homework problems before I tackled the exams. I actually took exam 2 first because I have heard it is the most difficult. I was fairly confident that if I could pass it, then I could pass the exam. I think I scored a 78 on the second exam. I then followed your strategy – did more homework problems, reviewed weaknesses, etc. I then took exam 1.

I also did all of the simulations. I have been told not to focus on the simulations because they do not prepare you for the actual simulations, and that is fairly accurate. However, I think if I do well on the simulations, it shows me how well I have learned the overall material.

I also took the exams twice.
