AUD: What is most heavily tested?

So I’m down to my last 11 days to review before I take AUD and was wondering what I should focus my studies on. For the most part, I’ve done pretty decently on all of the MCQs (in Becker) and have done decently on the SIMs as well. That being said, I was wondering what the most heavily tested topic(s) is/are in AUD. Anyone have any particular insights? For FAR and REG, enough people had posted on the forums that I had a pretty good idea of what to focus on. I haven’t had the same luck of finding any info for AUD, though.

I was planning on studying completeness vs. existence heavily to better understand the cycles and the relevant assertions but as I’ve been going through 2005-2012 recently released AICPA questions, they have very few completeness vs. existence questions. Becker, however, has about 100 questions on these assertions.

    Thoughts? Comments? Help?

    REG (5/31/12) - 90
    FAR (7/12/12) - 85
    AUD (8/23/12) - 91
    BEC (10/13/12) - 85

If it's in the NINJA Audio – you need to know it 🙂

Smart-alec sales pitch aside … you KNOW Internal Control is going to be there because it's foundational to everything else. OWN that topic.

I agree with Jeff about the Ninja notes for AUD. They do help. The other thing is make sure you have the audit reports memorized. I did not have them all memorized when I took the first exam and I got a 74. I made sure I knew them the second time and I passed. Good luck!

    AUD 74, 83
    FAR 75
    REG 71, 71, 70, 86!!!!!! 🙂
    BEC 85

    Thanks and thanks 🙂

Any other thoughts? How heavily tested are the cycles/assertions? That's probably the stuff I know least but I'm not sure how much effort I should put in to learning it seeing as I haven't seen too many questions on it from 2005-2011 recently released questions.

According to Becker, it's heavily tested, so I would definitely focus on learning it.
