AUD TBS Adaptive?

I have a hopefully quick question regarding the TBS for the new audit exam.

Based on my (limited) work in the TBS, some are incredibly easy (research, identification of material weakness, etc.) while others are very time intensive and difficult.

My question is, what determines what type of sims I get on exam day? It is adaptive or is there a certain number of medium/difficult questions I will get?

Any comments are helpful, or if you find any literature please send my way.

    Regards,

    Dillon

Nope. None of the TBS are adaptive. Jeff has confirmed that that a while ago. Only thing adaptive is the MCQ.

What determines what you get for TBS? Random number generator.

    Thanks you both!

So based on both of your responses, 50% of my score is roll of the dice.

What can I do to better prepare? Aside from hammering out tons and tons of sims between now and Thursday.
