    Hi!!!

Brief History – I start this journey on january 2010, i took the full review with Becker here in PR, and make the rookie mistake to pay for various parts at the same time. my first sit was for BEC on may ’10, then aug for FAR, honestly i dont count and tell of this two as in my record beacuse i didnt prepare as i should, first because time cosntraints (expiring nts), second no 100% commitment and third well overconfident. Anyway i start my job searching(i needed money!!! CPA included) and pospone the CPA, now in 2011 i restart my CPA quest and due to the new changes i purchased CPAexcel as my review for AUD and took the exam past summer, i felt pretty good, i read, watch the lectures and completed the course and got a 65. I figure out that i needed more practice… so i retake the test past november, i studied from the cpaexcel and becker books, didnt watch the lectures but i practice, practice and practice from the software and cpareviewforfree. I felt prepared, ready and with the right mindset… in the actual exam i took my time on each question and used the literature, only had issues with couples of the sims… i received my scores yesterday (dec 7) and failed again!!! and is shocking because the scores was even lower than the first… a 60!!!

Is frustrating but i like the challenge, im going with AUD again on late jan or feb, what i need to do? any tips, suggestions, methods, styles? im thinking on wiley online test bank for supplement because i know most of the answers of the cpaexcel software!, should i take notes or make a written summary of the lessons? or just read and read? i hope to have a happy ending! any advice is helpfull,

    Thanks,

I did Jeff's 3 week study plan for Audit. Week 1 – Watched Yeagar videos (19 hours) and take notes. This was painful but Bullmash spends a lot of the time going over mcq's so its time well spent. Week 2 – Used Wiley test bank and ninja notes. Week 3 – Re-wrote the notes and worked mcq's on weak areas. I scored 75% on final practice exam and 78 on the real thing. For Audit, I would recomend a concentrated study plan…commit to 2-4 hous per day and a little more on the weekends.

    BEC (11/10) 77 (Bisk)
    FAR 7/2 - 63 11/5 - 80 (Yeager - Fail, Becker - Pass)
    Reg (08/11) - 78 (Yeager)
    Aud - 11/29 - 78(Yeager)
