    Hello all,

I got selected for a tax internship for the summer. However, I am taking AUD on May 30th and have yet to begin my studying (I am a full-time graduate student so that is keeping me busy).

I start with the company right after the semester ends. My plan is to study 15 hours during the week after work and to study another 15-18 hours during the weekends.

    My plan:

Week of May 9th (before internship starts): Approx 40 hours

Week of May 16th (internship starts): 15 hrs week + 15 hrs weekend

Week of May 23rd: 15 hrs week + 15 hrs weekend

    Exam Date: Monday, May 30th

So, in total, approximately 100 hours of studying. Is this enough preparation for AUD?

    Thanks in advance!

Depends. What kind of audit work experience do you have? That helps a lot.

Whether or not it's enough time it looks like it's all the time you have before this window closes. And if this is your first part, you've got nothing to lose. I haven't taken AUD yet but from what I've heard from other people that is enough prep time. Good luck.

2nd attempt at this thing. Time to get serious.

100 hrs is enough time for the most candidates. depending on work experience and how well you did in your audit/accounting classes.

100 hours is plenty, but it looks rough for you to study 3 hours a night after work. You are only doing it for about 3 weeks, so you should be ok.
