Today I took AUD. And with this part, I am just uncertain if I pass. I kind of feel good but still many questions that I never saw before – hope these were the ones that are not graded. SIM were not bad – a lot of analyzing. Now May 5 please come quick with “hopefully” pass grade.

Can someone explain this one to me….It seems to me all four are correct LOL

B = Presentation
C = Right and Obligation
D = Valuation

I think it's because the other three are assertions about transactions where the correct answer is an assertion about account balances.

I just finished my FAR exam yesterday, and It wasn't the best..
Sitting for AUD on May 30, having 40 days to go and just starting to study today, you think I got any chance to finish everything in 40 days?

I wish I have a study partner, just need to motivation to get going 🙂

Can anyone clarify what a “reporting accountant” (from A1) is? Would it be an internal accountant employed by the client who prepares a written report on the applicable financial reporting framework for the auditors? Or would it be an accountant employed by the auditors? Or could it be the auditor themselves? Becker states that the reporting accountant is not required to be independent of the entity, so could it be both?

Sorry if its a dumb question! I have absolutely no audit background so I'm comprehend this stuff by relating it to the real world as much as possible.

What is considered “normal” for HW % first time through (Becker)?

I am currently going through A1, but not having the success I expected after the lecture / reading. I can generally get an answer between two choices, but some things take time I guess. It seems like there are 2 correct answers in some cases, but one choice is the “BETTER” answer.

Yea same , my A1 experience last week didn't go so well either. It seemed like the questions didn't match up with the reading. A2 so far is pretty aligned.
