    arrghh…..I hate Audit….

I felt confidence or at least feel way more ready than I was last time, but then I walked out of the exam with a similar feeling as last time.

MCQ went medium, HARD and last one idk, I thought it was definitely easier than 2nd one, so probably a bad sign….

I hate how AUD exams are always much broader and trickier than our study material…..

I feel like simulations were a little easier than the sims I got last time, but still hard…..

    Hopefully I somehow still pass…….

man, I don't know if I should start studying for FAR or keep studying AUD again before the score comes out…..

FAR - 9/8/16 (Hopefully it's my last CPA exam, God bless me!)
    REG - 80
    BEC - 81
    AUD - 69, 81

general question, What do you guys write down on the scrap paper they give you?

And also, how do you guys edit your post so your exam parts/scores are listed under your post? im a noob to forums :/

@JACKOBE24 if i dont pass audit (testing friday) im moving on to BEC. i heard that one is a little easier and my license is about to expire so i rather have three down before it does. one thing to keep in mind for you is that FAR covers a lot of material but in my opinion the questions are not that tricky compared to AUD

Can someone explain this to me….I read the explanation but I still don't really understand it. I pretty much used an educated guess and got the question correct.

Which of the following statements is correct concerning statistical sampling in tests of controls?

    A. As the population size increases, the sample size should increase proportionately.

    B. Deviations from specific internal control procedures at a given rate ordinarily result in misstatements at a lower rate. Correct

C.There is an inverse relationship between the expected population deviation rate and the sample size.

D.In determining tolerable rate, an auditor considers detection risk and the sample size.

@shsubearkat i'll give it a try…If I am wrong someone please help because my exam is 6/10 too!

    A. population size is not really an issue when it comes to sample size – out

    B. Statistical sampling is the quantitative way for auditor to determine the amount of risk they are willing to accept (attribute sampling – test of controls) if there are any deviations (rate of occurrence that test of controls are not working appropriately) it will most likely result in misstatements.

    C. There is a direct relationship (not inverse) between expected population and sample size – the fewer deviations the smaller the sample size. out

    D. in determining tolerable rate is the maximum rate of deviations an auditor is willing to accept to be a certain % confident that controls are operating effectively. this is compared to the upper deviation rate (sample deviation rate and allowance for sampling risk. – out

i've gone over the material 3 times, been doing pretty food on the progress test and improved by a lot on the MCQ's, yet I still don't have a good feeling about this exam 🙁

Same here…I'm going to go in confident keep to my time budgets on each testlet and really pay attention to what the questions are asking. I don't think the majority of the material is that hard but you have read VERY carefully. That was my game plan for FAR and I came out with an 80 and I had 40 minutes on the clock after I triple checked everything. (First time I took far with no plan on how to take on the actual exam i failed with a 74). Good luck to you Rosy! I'm testing tomorrow as well. Thanks for trying to explain the logic of the question to me. I understand your explanations which is my thought process but the answer on the question still just seems a little weird to me.
