@Operation_CPA I try to do one per week, but lately its been taking me longer because of personal situations and because I lose focus easily with this section. So much reading and hardly any math.

Is there anything out there that explains the ratios? their purpose how they are affected by the FS accounts? Becker never goes over this section and the only time this was explained to me was back in college about 4 years ago.

Can someone explain to me this one? I dont understand because the sample report in the Becker book says “We were unable to obtain sufficient appropriate audit evidence about the carrying amount of…..”

When an auditor qualifies an opinion because of the inability to confirm accounts receivable by direct communication with debtors, the wording of the basis of qualified opinion paragraph of the auditor's report should indicate that the qualification pertains to the:
    a. Limitation on the auditor's scope.
    b. Lack of sufficient appropriate audit evidence.
    c. Departure from generally accepted auditing standards.
    d. Possible effects on the financial statements. <——-CORRECT ANSWER

In the opinion paragraph,it is wrong to refere to the scope limitation it self but you should refer to the possible effects on F/S. See a report of qualification and look at the opinion paragraph, You will notice how scope limitation is being addressed. But the thing is that this question is wrongly asked I think they should have written in the “opinion paragraph” instead of the “basis of qualification” …

I posted this in another thread, but didn't get any responses.

I'm taking AUD next Tuesday and want to make this last week of review as efficient as possible. Lately I've been doing mostly Ninja mcq and I'm trending 94 with about 75 more trouble questions until I hit the review stage. So far I've done around 3500 mcq between Ninja and Roger and around 60 sims. I'm almost half way through re-writing the Ninja notes and started browsing through the AL just to get a feel for it and where I can find examples of all the reports. I feel I need to go over adjusting entries and ratios since the practice exam has sims on them. Did anyone else go over adjusting entries and is it important to know for AUD? Is there anything else I should be going over in this last week?

    AUD: 73, 81
    BEC: 71, retake 8/29

I didn't even try half the MCQs you did. And I think my avg are just about 65%-70%.

My exam is next Monday 🙁

marqzho- My average is only 74, but my trending shot up like crazy this past week from answering all the trouble questions and hitting the review phase. Keep hammering them out as much as you can and throw some sims in. I have no accounting experience other than school so I'm putting in extra study time to make up for it. I'd rather over-study than have to retake an exam.

@Re2Pect According to Becker, we are expected to see a couple adjusting entries on the exam. I'd go over them if I were you

Yes adjusting entries may be asked. You also may need to understand what impact those entries will have on the B/S, I/S, ratios like EPS or NI. Good luck!
