Hello Everyone,

Here is my status and I have an exam on Saturday, May 30th:

– NINJA Notes (x2)

– NINJA Blitz/Audio (x2)

– Becker lectures (during my first time taking it)

– NINJA MCQ (still on the assessment stage)

– Read NINJA AUD (text)Book (the 3 chapters I received weak/comparable on in my prior exam [70])

I received weak on my SIMS, but I heard that doing more multiple choice helps a lot more than practicing SIMS because SIMS are more random and just another way to apply what you learned in a different multiple choice format.

I was wondering if you would recommend I do for the remaining 1.5 days? I have these left:

– AICPAs released questions (25 difficult/25 medium for each year from 2007-2011)? (almost done with 2012-2015)

– Continue to do NINJA MCQ + SIMS (5 MCQ + 2 SIMS, then repeat)? pick the sections I'm struggling with?

– Becker SIMS?

– Becker Final Exams?

– NINJA Final Exams?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

@trish 4 of my sims were word for word out of the AL. I highly recommend using the search within feature; it'll keep you from aimlessly reading text that has nothing to do with what you're looking for. I had one sim that was very FAR-like but I didn't mind b/c I really enjoyed studying the FAR material.

@ hopeful see what cpa title 2015 said above!! AL AL AL. I am going to practice the AL. I wish my research on my study material was the same as the exam. I don.t get all of the book on AL

@yashy – I am not a fan of practice exams for a few reasons:

1. If you don't do well, then you go into the exam with less confidence

2. Doesn't allow for instant feedback so you can continue to learn right up to exam day. If I did a set of 30 without seeing the answers, all I would really know is that I am weak on this area but I didn't learn anything. I can continue to keep pounding MCQ's and know my weak areas because software keeps track for you.

Therefore – I would pound MCQ's and maybe do a few sims to get some different concepts.

AUD: Fail, 64, 71
BEC: 72, 74, 81

I have 2 more BEC and REG. Im done with the monsters with the highest failing rates. The Nija questions are harder than Becker's and WTB, and I think that pays off. The first time I took the exam I got a 72, and 74 on ninja. This time around I got a 82 on actual and 84 on ninja. The correlation is there,so im getting ninja for BEC.

ladyboxxo, Im scheduled for the 31,but Im not ready, I was reviewing some parts of Audit as I was studying for BEC. Very hard to study when you dont know if you need to go back to Audit.

@golfball7773 Thanks a lot for the reply and insight!

My plan for the rest of the day is just to continue to finish up 2012-2015 AICPA released Questions (review just the answers for 2011-2007). And then pound through NINJA MCQs/SIMS throughout the remainder of the day and tomorrow.

Correct?

If anyone else has any suggestions, I would love to hear them too.

@Trish & CPA title, you guys are awesome. I'm definitely gonna try to see how that goes. I think I'm going to have to get the new Becker stuff it has alot of Sims which are the worst for me. I guess I'll just need to hit the material harder but CPA in 2015 I feel your on a good track your gonna ace the next one!

trish, I have now the confidence to take the other two monsters cause i dont think any of the 4 parts are easy, but I at least I will take them knowing that they have the highest passing rates. Good Luck to all!
