My simulations were insane. I had two research sims which were pretty straightforward. I actually laughed at one of the sims. I have no idea how I passed.

From FAQ here :

“As a rule of thumb, use Adjectives (Hard, Awful, easy, horrible, insane) not Nouns (topics you saw … types of things they wanted you to do…whether or not your review course covered it) when describing your exam experience. The AICPA takes this very seriously, ninjas. ”

Please explain:

An entity's comparative financial statements include the financial statements of the prior year that were audited by a predecessor auditor whose report is not presented. If the predecessor's report was qualified, the successor should:

A.issue an updated comparative audit report indicating the division of responsibility.
B.explain to the client that comparative financial statements may not be presented under these circumstances.
C. express an opinion only on the current year's financial statements and make no reference to the prior year's statements.
D. indicate the substantive reasons for the qualification in the predecessor auditor's opinion.

I'd say “D”. If the previous audit report isn't presented then the current auditor should state the opinion of that report and the reasons for it.

No it hasn't sunk in yet, still can't believe it! Yeah, I'll let you know! I think I might finish off the Ethics over the weekend. We will see.

When do you plan to take Reg? It's a beast in terms of the amount of material esp. BusLaw but Ninja should prepare you well for BusLaw section.

I will drop off application for reg nts today at the state board office and go from there. Once I see the scope of material I will get an idea for a date but no later than end of may for sure.

@CAPRI – It's telling you the opinion on the report and stating it's not included. When the report isn't included during comparative statements the current auditor must state the opinion of the previous report and reasons for it.
