I disagree w/ the statement that doing 1200 mcq in ninja wouldn't be enough. It depends on quality not quantity.

Audit is the type of test that you should be taking the time to understand why the one choice is correct and why the other 3 answers are wrong. In many questions you can easily point out why the other answers are wrong because they specifically apply to another topic.

    BEC - 80
    AUD - 64, 75 - credit lost, 90!!
    REG - 73, 74, 83
    FAR - 61, 72, 85

Feels good finishing on my best note. Time to watch the mailbox.

    Test on the 29th too!

Hoping someone here can help me out…

An option for many MCQs is “restrict the use of the report to internal use only” but I haven't come across a question where this is the correct answer. This got me thinking…. When would you restrict the report to internal use only??

    Thanks!

    FAR: 81
    AUD: 72, 71, 87 finally!

Good point Kpanna…I think the answers are usually restrict the report or restricted to specified parties.

Test is tomorrow for me. Freaking out of course over here.

My company just merged at the beginning of the year (went from having 5 co-workers to 28). One of the partners just keeps telling me they have no doubt in their mind that I'll pass and keeps asking me if I'm ready, so now the pressure has just escalated, lol.

The last couple times I've done sets of 50 questions, I would hit 82% on set, 72% the next. I'm averaging 79% w/ a treding score of 78%. I did the AICPA list of “difficult” questions (8 wrong of 25).

I remember the first time I took AUD, the AL was of no help to my sims. Then my second time I took it, the AL definitely was usable and useful for sims. So I'm a firm believer in there being the “luck in the draw”. I keep trying to remind myself that I've passed this once before, I can do it again.

    Any last minute tips?

Question about Review reports. My book says 4 paragraphs, but I just saw an updated Roger video that said the standards have changed and it is now only 1 paragraph. Is this correct and if so, is it being tested already? Anyone?

    d. Comparing an entity's uncollectible accounts expense to actual uncollectible A/R.

Yep! that is correct “A” is the Answer

    #747649

@Trying to pass what was the reason behind that answer? i'm thinking it's asking to pick an internal control procedure we ought to perform. it seems like all answers relate to substantive tests (although “c. Inspecting an entity's analysis of A/R for unusual balances.” seems like an internal control procedure as well)

@Pandarama gl on the exam tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! focus, read each question at least twice! you can do this!

    Licensed CPA since Apr 16
    Order in sequence of passing
    FAR-71,71,79
    BEC-80
    REG-72,77
AUD-56,72,72,72,80! Thank you, thank you, thank you Lord!

@hokinizeu; I got wrong too,,, Cheers! but here is the explanation…

The question is about test of Control,
“A” is correct because Observation is one of the methods used to evaluate the operating effectiveness of an entity's IC so that they can rely on it by assessing the control risk below max. (Low).

“C” is wrong because even though it says “Inspecting…” (analysis of A/R for unusual transaction is basically substantive testing)
