Hi Everyone! I am currently somewhere in A3 on Becker, scheduled to AUD 11/2. I work in public accounting in audit, so fingers crossed, this is one I don't have too much trouble with.

I've been listening to the lectures in the car as I have quite a commute most days and then hitting the multiple choice at home or when I have a moment. I've skipped the skills practice and book chapters for the most part so far, but I'm hoping if I can at least get through all the material once, I can go back and fill it in.

retake my final section AUD exam on 28/Nov/2017

hope i get it that time

but my question is i have a expiration credit on 30.Nov.2017

if i take that final section on 28.Nov and pass it when score relaese on Dec.2017 , will i lose the credit for 30.Nov section

@rasem_alawi it will probably show it as expired on 11/30 depending on which state you are in. But then when you pass, they change it. It literally just happened to my friend who freaked out and a week later it was changed. We are in CA.

Why would Human Resource (and bookkeeping) be wrong, if that explanation is correct:

Hey Oneday, I believe that a CPA who provides bookkeeping services for a company, and therefore prepares the financial statements, is not independent, and as such, is not allowed to audit the company's financial statements. I also believe that the same would be true for internal audit outsourcing services.

Does anyone know if they got rid of the paper sample tests on the AICPA website? I can't seem to find them, but maybe that was pre-2017 changes….

I had received my NTS earlier this year, but I postponed thrice and then didn't show. I couldn't get it together to study. Finally resent my check again to the state board, waiting for the NTS, and finally got in a study groove. Am almost done with A1(Becker).

@jtvande – I am in the same boat. Scored a 74 and thought I had passed at least in the 80's. 🙁

What are you and all other that are retaking AUD doing to study? I just took on 9/8 so it's fresh in my mind and I want to retake on 10/11 or sooner if possible.

Hi everyone!!

I'm almost done with the beast (had an incredibly lucky Q3) and just need to knock out Audit. I want to make sure that I'm doing everything I need to do to be 100% prepared so I don't have to extend the CPA into my first busy season. Any tips (even just normal life tips for a fledging adult) would be greatly appreciated.

Back to tackle Audit and pass in October. Got a 72 on my last test. Just need to keep doing Wiley MCQ's and SIM's, read NINJA notes, and listen to NINJA audio. That combination has worked well for me so far. Good luck to all.

Hi ,
I am currently studying for auditing exams on 30 th October . I scored 70 in the last attempt. I am in need on extreme positivity . I know I can do it but sometimes I just fumble .
Please share the techniques used to study the auditing course .I did not realize it will be more difficult than FAR .

I've been using another71 for a while to look at explanations for answers to the multiple choice questions, but after failing audit twice with a 71 in Q2 then a 74 in Q3 I'm finally registered because I'm in need of moral support. I suffer from depression and with each failing grade I find it harder and harder to push on. I change my strategy each time but coming up short a point literally kills me. But this time around I'm trying to see the silver lining. Are there any advice for studying evidence gathering and audit procedures for certain assertions?

Quite concerned about Audit and was very demotivated.

Thought will crack atleast 1 of the 2 in Q3.

but just going with Becker and starting NINJA.

Please advice if there is anything different we need to do to crack Audit and FAR.
