Took the exam today. Will be taking it again. I'm angry. I'm upset. I hate AUD. That is all.

@Maw428 It could count. I don't think there is any way of knowing. FAR crossovers are fair game it seems because we are auditing financials, right? For example, if an auditor had to do AJEs for a client, s/he would need to know some FAR material. ๐Ÿ˜‰

@CPA Mommy — everyone thinks they failed (unless of course you didn't finish the test). So keep your chin up! And if you do take it again, no worries. I see people on here who have taken it 5+ times. Eventually you prevail!!

    AUD 7/30/12 73; 12/2/13 85
    BEC 7/19/13 81
    REG 8/2/14 83
    FAR - Jan 2015

I am currently reading the Professional Responsibilities section in AUD for the Wiley 2013CPA Review book. I do not understand what is important in this section. There are a lot of rules and interpretations that just basically repeat themselves… Does anyone know how I can narrow down this section?

    AUD- FEB 2014
    BEC- APR 2014
    FAR- MAY 2014
    REG- AUG 2014

Using Wiley CPA Exam Review and Ninja Notes
May the "Force" be with me!

Is it normal to do good on MCQs and then struggle with the SIMs. I am still on chapter one using becker. Got 88% on the MCQs and was impressed and then with the SIMs it was a different story. I liked the SIMs though, that it can summarize lots of information in one question which is a good review I believe as long as I am still doing that at home ๐Ÿ™‚

My Question is, are SIMs hard/confusing on the exam as the book?

    FAR 8/2016

Yes–SIMS can be hard/confusing on the test. I had two on my last test that I didn't think made any sense at all. The test AL is pretty good. You have to know enough about the standards to search really well. The AL can make or break your SIMS score.
