i don't think there are ratios definitions in the AL. If there are, great. But I just know them by heart especially the most common ones. I can save my time for other things like word for word types of reports, research…

I took AUD today and finished with an hour and a half left. A little unsettling. I hope I didn't, you know, forget to do an entire testlet or anything.

    Hi all,

Just need some ideas and different studying approaches others have used to tackle audit. My first time around, I can honestly say I didn't give my undivided attention to studying nor did I care. The 2nd time, was sort of the same thing but I crammed the last 2-3 days. Right now I am on my 3rd attempt, obviously trying this time. I have so far put in about 100 hours (2 weeks worth, studying everyday.)

any tips on how to clearly understand the transaction cycles and not mix it up? This part really smacks me up so bad that i start dazing away and start typing on another71, lmao..

Any tactics that works or worked to help you pass or increase your points by 10 points would be greatly appreciated.

    Business - 77 (Pass, expire 4/30/14)

    Hi all,

I took auditing a couple days ago and had a FAR simulation that had nothing to do with auditing. I'm confident that I bombed it. Does anyone know if this FAR simulation is usually counted against you for this section or if they are just testing the question?

@maw, don't know if its a throw away SIM or not, but I took AUD last week and had a few FAR sims, so one definitely counted. I also had 2 research questions, so I'm assuming that both my FAR sims counted.

Becker, Wiley Test Bank, and Ninja 10 Point Combo!

    FAR: 89
    REG: 87
    AUD: 92
    BEC: 75
    Ethics: 90

Hello all – could use your help. I am working through the Becker Homework Simulations. In Chapter 3 Sim 8 – the answer is AU-C 250.A75 — Why this vs. AU-C 250.A76? Here is the research question for non-Becker peeps:

Martin, CPA, wants to be sure that the risk of material misstatement due to fraud is properly addressed. What guidance is provided by the AICPA Professional Standards that may help Martin locate examples of possible audit procedures to address the assessed risk of material misstatement due to fraud?

It seems to be A75 is a list of risk factors not procedures, while A76 is in fact a list of procedure.

    Thank you in advance!!

    AUD 7/30/12 73; 12/2/13 85
    BEC 7/19/13 81
    REG 8/2/14 83
    FAR - Jan 2015

After having to wait 2.5 hours to take my exam (Prometric technical issues), I took my exam today. I thought maybe I did ok, but I have a question. Without violating rules, its a ‘research question' question. If your asked details about the rules of something and you find the exact section/passage, but it has a link in that passage that refers you to a passage that has more details. Do you use the original passage or the passage that refers you to details?

    Passed all sections.

Took the exam today. Will be taking it again. I'm angry. I'm upset. I hate AUD. That is all.
