@Juliemiddle, I was actually just wondering if there are going to be changes for 4014? I was going to base my decision on that. If there are big changes for 2014, I was really kick it into gear and make sure I am ready for it at the end of the month. If there aren't big changes I might change to beginning of January. Thanks though.

Hello All,

I am not too sure if anyone here might have talked about it but I have some quick questions.

I have just registered to take the AUD on Dec. 6. I am about to start studying for it. I have Becker 2012 edition on hand. I understand clearly that there are some major updates recently. However, I really do not want to spend big bucks to buy those materials only for the section. Therefore, I was just wondering that if I study my 2012 Becker Aud thoroughly, would it be enough for me to pass it? If not, do you guys know any place i can hopefully get some freebie? I am a recent graduate and my budget is really tight as im starting to pay off my student loan. Thanks everyone!

@KillCPA – in my opinion the changes from 2012 to now are pretty significant. You wouldn't want to study solely on old material, although the old material will be on the test. I am not sure of the best/cheapest way to proceed, but you will want to get the new information.

I second the above post. The Clarity Project is the big change, and from what I understand from my review course (Roger), it gets most of the testing since it is new. They are new standards and different language and wording from GAAS. You will want to get new materials that cover the Clarity Project. For a cheap option, I would look at Jeff's NINJA notes and videos. You won't be saving any money if you fail the exam and have to retake it, so you may as well put some money into it to at least get the current information.
