I am so frustrated. I received a 65 on my first audit exam. That's not a great score but acceptable because I took it two weeks after I took BEC and I was so burnt out by that time that I really didn't get much studying in. I am taking quizzes in WTB and getting 80 and 90% on at least 6 of the 8 topics. I am over halfway through the Kaplan book and I'm using their test bank. I've watched all the Kaplan lectures. I am using NInja Notes to guide my note taking. I can practically recite the Ninja Audio. I do fairly well on the Ninja flashcards. HOWEVER, when you guys post questions I can't answer any of them. In most cases the material you are talking about doesn't even look familiar to me. Is this just a difference between Becker, which I know most of you are using, and Kaplan or am I no where close to where I need to be with my studying???? I don't understand why I don't recognize some of the stuff you guys ask about and it's starting to freak me out!

@cpamomy, you said it yourself you didn't pass the audit exam last time , because you didn't give yourself the chance to study well, (btw, this the same trap i am on now , and will lose FAR credit as a result of that) , also you said you now taking the time you need and scoring on the 90's on willy test bank , which is great. all what it needs time +effort+ believe in yourself , frustration will do you no good , the most important thing is you get the questions wright , all our discussions is something like the little tiny stuff between the lines that you mostly already know it , but based on what you say you get 90's on the question, but because only you don't use the same material you don't know where it is mentioned , how it is phrased on our review book that is all , frustration is the last thing you would need now , concentrate on your strength areas (i.e. getting the questions wright for the wright reasons) and believe on what you are doing and you will do well , nothing goes on vain , you give the time and effort , you will pass the exam this is how the universe work , good luck and keep the faith. and remember you need to write a book on auditing to pass the exam , all what you need is the 75% and you will attain your dream , at the end of day whether you passed or didn't pass that is the standard , hold on there and keep the faith. it is doable.

You're not alone, Mommy. I put in six hours yesterday and six hours today, so I haven't even had time to lurk the forums. It doesn't look like I missed much.

I'm pretty nervous about taking AUD in the morning because I don't feel as confident about AUD as I did about BEC, and I haven't gotten my BEC score back yet. I'm averaging 85% on the MCQs and higher on the sims, so hopefully that will translate to a passing score.

    BEC - 10/01/2013 - 80 - Wiley books and test bank
    AUD - 10/21/2013 - 78 - Wiley books and test bank
    REG - 11/27/2013 - 78 - Wiley books and test bank
FAR - 01/13/2014 - 79 - Wiley books and test bank, Ninja Blitz

Well, I finished the first two sections in an hour and felt good. I finished the sims in an hour and felt great. What happened in the middle during that third MCQ section? It was AWFUL. I'm sure the questions would have been perfectly fine, but some woman was wear a chunky charm bracelet and was moving her wrist and charms across her desk every 5-30 seconds for an hour. I raised my hand and asked if the Prometric woman could have her remove the bracelet and was told that Prometric employees are not allowed to interrupt people while they are testing. The ear mufflers muffled nothing. I had trouble focusing enough to even read a question. When that woman left, I was so happy. As long as I didn't bomb that third MCQ section, I think I did well.
