    @Geee

    I know.. I just hope we both pass Audit! I am taking it tomorrow (10.10)! I'm not feeling very confident today.. I didn't sleep well, woke up sick, and my back hurts, but it could be worse so I can't complain.. Haha.. so I'm having a hard time going through most of my notes!

    I'm have already scheduled my BEC exam for Nov 26th or 27th (I can't remember at this moment) haha.., but I dont know about Financial yet. I'm thinking the second wave of the first window, but this is subject to change.

    Anyway… here's to a long three weeks of waiting for Audit scores!

    {R: PASSED!! (I passed one!)}
    {B: PASSED!! (Halfway there!)}
    {F: PASSED!! (1 left!!!)}
    {A: PASSED(I am done!!)}

    Hi guys,

    I am new to this forum and to audit as well. I have my exam in two weeks, I honestly feel completely lost. I need some advice as to what I can do in the upcoming days to help myself.

    Thanks

    could someone explain why increase in risk of assessing control risk too low will result in a small sample size?

    @avenger when you are determining sample size, you consider your ACCEPTABLE risk of assessing control risk too low, not your ASSESSED risk of assessing control risk too low. As you are willing to accept more risk, your sample size will go down.

    thanks @barelystayingsane.

    what about responsibilities of an auditor in between auditor's report date and date on which report is submitted?

    subsequent events:

    type 1 = adjust fs if on or before balance sheet date?

    type 2 = disclose in notes if after balance sheet date?

    Also if I understand correctly, the auditor is not responsible to update the report after the report is submitted.

    The auditor has no active responsibility regarding subsequent events after the report date. However, if a subsequent event comes to the auditor's attention after the report date and the auditor believes that it should be disclosed, the auditor would typically dual date the report to cover that event.
