Hi guys…I am reviewing AUD module 1 and if anyone completed this chapter then I needed one clarification that

as per the clarified SAS(New guideline) is implemented for ONLY non-issuers while PCAOB still does not accepted net guideline so we have to study as per old guideline. Ultimately for non-issuers study new guideline while for issuers old guideline. I am reviewing becker course.

Any helps really appreciated in advance.

Learned yesterday that my local Prometric office (in Jacksonville, Florida) will be closed on Thursday, November 28; Friday, November 29, and Saturday, November 30, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Are other Prometric offices planning to eliminate the last three days of the final 2013 window?

@Wendy–I am in the same boat. I passed BEC in August, but failed AUD 2 weeks later. I spent 4 months studying for both of them. I am burnt out and have not been able to get back into full study mode yet. I've been looking at flashcards and the Ninja Notes, but just can't bring myself to rewatch lectures or read the book. I'll take motivational advice as well.

@Acolyte–I am in Jax too. Is that the Phillips Hwy location closing those days?

FYI to all of you have the Ninja Flashcards there is a website called Brainscape that is pretty awesome. You can pull the cards up from any source of internet and it lets you rate your progress (how well you knew the answer) so you can go back and quiz on the ones you have trouble on. The way you rate yourself allows it to calculate the percentage of “Mastery” with each subject.

Brainscape also lets you add/edit cards so you can make notes on them or create your own as you go through the MCQs and realize you need more help in certain areas.

Hello Ninjas…………….appearing for test in oct/november windows…..Need your assistance

    Question:

As we know auditing standards changed after December 15, 2012 and assume that someone would engaged to audit financial statements for the year ended 2007, 2008, 2009 in 2013.

What audit standards-procedures should be used in 2013 for audited report to be issued for the year 2007,2008,2009?

Wow. I definitely underestimated AUD. I didn't want to spend any more money on the CPA exam since I just bought a new NTS for my expired sections but I had to cave in and buy the NINJA Notes. I'm hoping this puts things in layman's terms for me.

Unfortunately I start my first day of work in a few weeks, now I'm wondering – Why did I want to be an auditor again? I definitely enjoyed REG more than this ..

    - passed all 4 exams on my first try using Becker!

    Ethics: TBD
