AnonymousInactive@NotTooLate Yes.. Thanks.. We will knock this exam out..
@Geee When I saw my score I was so confused too… I improved (3 comparable, and 3 weakness) which gave me a score of 63.. while last time when I took it ( 5 weakness, 1 comparable) and scored a 66. Didn't make sense to me…
Well, either way.. I failed miserably… couldn't even hit 70.. .. Will go for a rematch in early October.. hopefully things at work don't get too crazy during the month end close… #fml

mcflyParticipantI'm back on the Audit horse starting tonight. I have Becker, and one of my biggest struggles has just been to get THROUGH all the material, so I didn't linger on my trouble areas last time I studied (in hopes that by doing this I'd leave myself plenty of review time to review everything, and that I'd at least see everything that could be tested on once). Of course time caught up with me and I ended up rushing through the end and didn't have much time to review my weaker areas.
I'm starting over from Chapter 1 tonight, but I'm going to read the book and take notes as I read and then only watch the videos on areas I know I need to grasp better. I'm hoping that this strategy will help me get through everything more quickly and efficiently. Honestly, watching the lectures takes every ounce of concentration I can muster. If re-reading the book is enough of a refresher I'm just gonna skip that part. Some of these concepts are embedded in my brain already, and I don't want to skip them altogether, but I don't want to spend unnecessary time on them, either. We'll see how it goes.
Good luck to everyone!
REG - PASSED
BEC - PASSED
AUD - PASSED
FAR - PASSEDDONE. ๐

saritaMemberI'm not loving the way Becker has organized AUD… it seems very jumbled. I was hoping there would be an index in the back of the book that summarized the audit steps in chronological order with examples of all the various procedures involved. Anyone know where I can get a list like this? Ninja Notes?
FAR 7/3/13 - 82
BEC 8/21/13 - 82
AUD 10/2/13 - 92
REG 12/3/13 - 88DONE!!!! CA Candidate

solodoloMemberwhat do you guys think about fitting AUD and BEC into one testing window?
I am currently studying for AUD with CPAExcel.
I'm not working so i spend most of my time just studying.
Plan on scheduling AUD for Oct 11-15 and BEC for the end of Nov.
Any advice?
FAR - 08/27/13 CPAExcel 90 + Becker Final Review Notes
AUD - 10/11/13 CPAExcel 82
BEC - 12/05/13 CPAExcel 80
REG - 08/04/14 CPAExcel 84 + Becker Final Review NotesSeptember 12, 2013 at 4:11 pm #477924

saritaMemberI think you could definitely do it in the same testing window. I'm doing all my exams 2x in one window. I did FAR and BEC together (July/Aug) and now I'm doing AUD and REG (Oct/Nov). Considering AUD and BEC have the least amount of material (at least according to Becker), I think it's 100% possible. I'm working part-time and I did it, so you could definitely do it if you're not working at all.

BEC 8/21/13 - 82
AUD 10/2/13 - 92

AnonymousInactiveI'm currently studying for AUD after a 3+ year hiatus. I passed FAR & BEC back in '09 and failed AUD my first try in '10. I let a career change and life get in the way, but I'm determined to do this for ME this time. I used Becker the first time around, but this time I am using Roger + Wiley TB & supplementing with the Ninja notes, audio & flashcards. Studying is a little different now that I'm working industry, married and have a baby. I thought I was SO busy when I was single working in public accounting. If I could only punch my former self…. ๐
