@CPA.hopeful.2013 and @cpa2012 I'm pretty sure that AU-C just replaces AU, doesn't replace all the others (AT, QC, etc), so I would definitely expect to see those others on the exam, just not see the AU. I should've clarified in my post that when considering AU vs AU-C, I would go with AU-C, but that the other other standards are still in effect for their specific applications. (Like, QC still covers Quality standards beyond AU-C.)

@CPA.hopeful.2013 If NINJA notes have benefited you greatly in other exams, then they'll probably benefit you here. Personally, they haven't been that useful. I have attempted to use them for a couple exams and never felt they were real helpful…same with AUD. But, that's my learning style, and may not be yours!

@Peter AUD is very conceptual, but IMHO, the SIMs test concepts better than MCQs. So, I would suggest you at least look at a few sample SIMs. I only did a few practice SIMs, but I think that having done those few did help me with the real thing.

@ Lilla – I purchased the audio and notes for BEC and didn't find them very helpful but that exam is just all over the place so I didn't know if they would be different and better summarize AUD. I think i'm just feeling desperate because i'm running out of days and don't feel very prepared. I am going back and forth with rescheduling AUD for Oct but my NTS expires Oct 17th and I need to take FAR in Oct so it won't work the best that way either…..

Did you download the demos first CPA hopeful?

I try to make sure that people know exactly what they are getting when they buy (https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-study-plan/)

@CPA.hopeful.2013 i bought the NINJA audio notes for AUD with the WTB and I found it really helpful. As I'm driving to work everyday for 1.5-2 hours so I got enough time to listen on a daily basis. I had my exam on monday this week so let's see what happens

I was doing pretty well until I got to A4.

Transaction cycles are kinda confusing to me.

I did download the demos, thanks Jeff. I wasn't saying the notes/audio for BEC weren't good material, I just didn't find them helpful for ME for BEC. I think it was because the way I needed to learn that material was more practicing MCQs whereas I think the material for AUD is more conceptual and the notes might point out the more important things to focus on. I think i'm going to go for it and buy them! Can't hurt! Thanks everybody for your input!

What is with Becker AUD MCQ's, they seem to ask some of the same questions over and over again withing just one topic.
