@Awesome the wiley test bank is not updated for the changes from what I know. I didn't try doing the sims on the test bank this time around. I saved the PDF that they have when you follow the link on the side (which has updated sims). And then instead of using their literature, I use AICPA's. I see the right answers.

Do you guys know if the old stuff of AUD will be tested such as unqualified, explanatory paragraph preceding or after opinion paragraph? or will it just be Clarified SAS with the unmodified opinion etc.

@adamantium007 There will still be some of both until Jan 1, when they say that the tests will be solely based on AU-C.

@Mia I'm wrapping up the MCQs in WTB, re-doing the ones that I got wrong, and going over Ninja Notes & Audio for my weak areas (and if I have time, re-reading the sections in the Wiley book, but I doubt that will happen!). I'm not a good note-taker myself, so when I have time, I use Ninja Notes for my note part of things…so this morning, so far, I've listened to the Audit Sampling audio while re-typing the notes. I have about 300 unseen MCQs still, so I plan to do those today, too. Then Monday and Tuesday evenings, after work, I'll do the questions that I'd gotten wrong previously…and Wednesday I'll probably listen to Audio on my way to my test. 🙂

hi guys! does anyone have any helpful tips on the sims?

for instance the picture of all the auditing symbols and what each one means completely confuses me as well as the picture of a client's financial processing and then they have blank circles rectangles etc and you need to identify (i guess) what each blank shape means?

thanks mia! do you know what page in becker it is? also, i guess i was talking about the auditors work papers with a bunch of symbols and you have to say what each symbol is…am i the only one who finds those diagrams impossible? good luck studying all1

I might be wrong but I don't think I saw the flowcharts symbols and their descriptions in the AUD book. You could see how they are used in transaction cycles (chapter 4, middle part). I saw them in the BEC book. But you could find those through google 🙂
