Alright, been puttering along with my Audit studying; however, just got back my BEC passing score- it is so motivating to finally have a test under my belt!!!

For those struggling with AUD, I can offer hope. I got a 68 the first time. I used Ninja notes, and questions from the Wiley book. After receiving my failing score, I realized the Ninja notes weren't enough for the areas of engagement planning, evidence, and reports. So I used the detailed outlines in the Wiley books and got the Wiley testbank. And I learned every detail of those outlines. And I used the heck out of that testbank. Plus, I supplemented with CPAReviewForFree and AICPA released questions. I was thrilled to get a 93 the second time.

Congrats on that 93 GodsSport. Just amazing! Thanks for the insight. I'm forcing myself to read the Wiley textbook outlines for topics I'm not confident in. I've already gone through Becker but still not sure I could pull off a passing score. How long did you study for your round 2 with audit?

Congrats on that 93 GodsSport. Just amazing! Thanks for the insight. I'm forcing myself to read the Wiley textbook outlines for topics I'm not confident in. I've already gone through Becker but still not sure I could pull off a passing score. How long did you study for your round 2 with audit?

It seems like the AUD section wants a deeper level of knowledge than the FAR or BEC sections. And in the Wiley testbank, I didn't stop until I averaged at least 80% on a topic.

One thing I wanted to mention is I didn't use the AL at all for my sims….obviously I would have liked to but don't freak out if you don't have time or if the AL isn't very much help. Also, my research question (only 1) was ridiculous. I spent probably 30 minutes on it and still didn't have a good answer. Anyways, good luck and I hope to be seeing some of you guys in REG!

@GodsSport, when you say the Wiley outline you mean you just read the section on planning, evidence, and reporting?

Besides reading through them did you do anything specific to help retain the information?
