I got the same result as Jesse when I practiced that question on Becker. I have the new version for 2013. I think its a flaw in the SIM test bank.

Good luck to all. Took my first AUD today… CPAExcel did not prepare me for that. Questions were very specific and of course the broad language kept me guessing what they really want. MCQ was very hard, but the SIMS were so easy a high school student could have done it.

I also had that problem with the Becker research sim. Also another research sim they had was messed up in A3

Can someone please reconcile this for me. I'm sure I'm missing something simple but I just can't see it.

Becker A5-page 26 it says that it's ok to put in writing that there were no material deficiencies but Becker A5-page 38 says it's NOT ok to put that in writing. (i believe this is for non-issuers only)

The only thing I can think of is that it's ok to put it in the Auditor's report on internal control but not in the writing to those charged with governance.
