Accordingly, non-audit services related to internal control over financial reporting (ICOFR) must be communicated to the audit committee in writing.

Can someone please give me some of the examples of these non-audit services related to ICOFR? Thanks.

Just took the Becker practice exam 2 and got almost an entire sim “wrong” (even though the answers were actually right) because I entered equations into the boxes versus calculating on my own and putting rounded numbers in…. Thoughts on what to do on the real exam? Does it make a difference?

For example, should you put “=4/11” or “.36”?

Hiya ag08c,

That is exactly my worst fear. I really don't know how we would be graded if that happened.

My guess is I would type in the result into the box and give up to two decimal places.

But first I would read the question.. see if they say to round it up or stay silent.

Have a doubt in simulations (Wiley module 3 task 1) It says that a clerk maintaining the A/R records and having authority to add or delete information on PC would constitute a weakness, but doesn't a A/R dept do the same.

I think for that Question in Wiley.

It says Clerk 2 maintains the accounts receivable records and can add or delete information on the PC.

You have to think of ARCC. (Segregation of Duties)

Here Clerk 2 has two functions. 1 Maintaining the records and 2. Authority to add and delete. So that is a weakness. Someone else needs to authorize Add and Delete function.
