@zxiao yeah, I think I will do that.. my current review is very detailed in PCAOB standards and all documentation/requirements etc for issuers, differences with US GAAS etc (more than 100 pages including reports), .. I wil go as my program and I will ask to my tutor once my instruction class start!

Substantive analytical procedures vs. Analytical Procedures

This website helped me understand the difference between the two. It was a little confusing for me at first. Just thought I would share because the difference is now a lot more clear to me! It's for Audit Evidence in Ch 4 (Becker).

I'm in for the 27th. Its also my first night time appointment (5:30-9:30). Assuming the FAR score I'm waiting on is good, this could be the end of my cpa exam adventures. Though if I get my FAR results back before then, I'm not looking until after I take this due to not wanting to risk morale.

    FAR 73, 71, 83
    AUD 66, 70, 86
    REG 82
    BEC 76

@ Johnny Trickpenny Best wishes on your FAR score!

I'm so mad at myself! I was redoing MCQs and I couldn't believe that I made mistakes on the ones I did right before! Hope I won't make such mistakes on my real test.

    Good luck to everybody!

So I read a lot about people using the AL to solve most of the Sims. I've been practicing answering the questions the sims asking only using the AL and am finding it easier than I thought. Is it realistic to expect a good portion of the Sims to contain answers that you can find in the AL, or do you just have to get lucky in that sense? I see no reason to think I can't do really well on the SIMs if I got into them with 2+ hours and have time to look for everything…that would be a big confidence booster going into the exam.

The last exam I took, AUD Feb 10, was the first time I knew about using the AL. 3 of the 7 SIMS were straight from the AL, and it was helpful in solving the other 4. I would still practice your SIMS lightly, but definitely feel a little bit at ease in the fact that the AL will be very helpful.

    CA Candidate

B-79 (4th Attempt, finally killed you Nov 2013)
    A-81 (3rd Attempt, Feb 2014) AND I AM DONE!!!!!

    F-77 (2nd attempt, Jan 2014)

Is it feasible to finish WTB MCQs in three days? I plan to buy it on Friday. I'm not sure if I would have enough time to finish those questions.
