In the ninja audio Jeff mentions the ratios you need to know. I cannot find that spot and wondered if anyone knew what those ratios are? I hate memorizing them, and would like to narrow it down from the 2-3 pages of them in Becker.

From my understanding, you need to know the current, quick, cash, AR turnover, inventory turnover, net profit margin, return on asset, EPS, P/E, debt/equity and debt ratios. I haven't taken it yet, but I can't imagine we see something other than those.

For anyone who happens to be looking at this and did REALLY well on Audit, what would you recommend doing in the last week of preparations? Testing next Thursday and planning on doing the practice tests Sunday and Tuesday, with a brief review of the sims and a ton of MCQ in between. Anything else?

@ F15hy – Thanks. My exam date is too close to spend much more time – except about acceptance of some stuff – when I see a question about attribute sampling and there is an increase in “assessing the control risk too low” then all I have to wrest with is that the sample size decreases.

Today's aggravation concerns the word ‘proprietary' w/r/t changing an engagement from an audit to a review.

“In all circumstances, when procedures are complete or the cost of completion is insignificant, the auditor should consider the propriety of the change.”

Why couldn't they just use he word ‘appropriate' or ‘rationale'? little ankle biters…

@Roseanne87 I feel the same. I'm rereading the book and redo homework, right now I'm on A4. I hope I could finish A6 by tomorrow. Then I will do the two practice tests. If I still have time, I would buy WTB to do more MCQs.

@CPAhereIam I'm not sure what you are asking for. I'm using Becker and there is no such a section to talk about PCAOB specifically. But I did try to study everything in the material. I only memorized reports for non-issuers, but I also studied for the differences between issuers' reports and non-issuers' reports. I guess all I want to say is try to study everything because you never know what will be in the exam.

and…I am freaking out…Feel like I have not much time left….

10 days…need to finish 3.5 chapter…
