    @amh16 I think what they mean is if they're engaged specifically to audit the balance sheet, they can do that without a problem. But if they're engaged to audit the financial statements as a whole, then they can't issue an unmodified opinion. Does that help any?

    What does this sentence means – ” An Emphasis of matter paragraph is included in the auditor's report for the period of change and in later periods until the new principle is applied in all periods presented “

    @Fayas, if there is a change in principle in 2012 and you are presenting comparative statements, every year that 2012 is presented, you must have an emphasis of matter paragraph. Make sense?

    @Fayas, if there is a change in principle in 2012 and you are presenting comparative statements, every year that 2012 is presented, you must have an emphasis of matter paragraph. Make sense?

    Ha @zxiao, I had the exact same thing happen to me. I was so angry when I saw that answer considering it couldn't be looked up, I wasn't sure if it was my software or I was just missing it.

    I'm also testing AUD on 2/28. Good luck!

    Taking AUD Feb. 28th. Anyone taken the test already with any good advice or insights? Esp on sims? Thanks.

    @gregm What is your study plan for final review? I'm redoing all my homework and rereading the book. I plan to buy Wiley TB in the last week before the exam.

    @done2014 Well, I haven't taken auditing yet, but I've searched a lot regarding methods for simulations. If you are using Becker, utilizing AL for every simulations, not just for research problems. Also, have a good understanding about your review materials would help you to do the simulations. Some people suggest that reading those statements if you have time.
