Hi, i understand this post is for 2014. However, i am taking AUDin dec 6 and really need help from you guys.

Could anyone please tell me about the simulations (anything would help). I have done my research online but very little information could be found. My question are:

How many sims (out of 7) that you actually use the authoritative (research) tab?

I have done a few simulation in Wiley but i find that it's not necessary to do the research tab (or information is not available there).

I am really in need of your help.

It really depends on the type of simulations you encounter, you will be able to answer your research questions by using the AL. You can meet 2 research questions depending on how lucky you are ( that doesnt mean you will be able to find the right answer to all 2).

I took AUD recently and I found one of my simulations word for word in the AL, Im not sure if I got my research question right cos its still haunting me whenever I go to bed.

I also realised I could have utilised the AL for some two other simulations, but I only got to know that after the exams when I was going through my review materials.

Give your self enough time for research on almost all the simulations, it will pay off.

Dont be nervous, I developed the same attitude and it didnt work well for me.

Even when I was using the AL, I though l was reading Latin because of too much info in the AL .

My MCQs were ok because Gleim and WTB helped a lot in that aspect.

I will go beserk if I pass on friday,

I also got the AUD Ninja notes but there's only 3-4 pages on the new standards which really worries me that I wont be prepared since in 2014 the old standards wont be tested. Any advice on how I should proceed? I do have my 2012 AUD material but i doubt that would help me at this point. Am I unnecessarily freaking out?

I'm already about 40% through the material based on CPAExcel's projection and was wondering, should I postpone? I will also start a live CPA review course with my school in Jan for FAR since it counts towards my degree…I'd really rather not postpone, however does anyone believe it would be best to do so?

Any guidance would be helpful!
