    @abig – I'm glad I'm not the only person who feels that way. I'm not a fan at all of the new version. I mean usually change isn't something people tend to embrace but this new version will take some getting used to!

    Same here!

    I had to skip the skill practice for most and only watched when I did not grasp the concept well from the lecture.

    I believe the skill practice is a good addition for FAR,REG & BEC where they might actually practice some problems and walk people through it. But for AUD, its more of a repetition of the lecture.

    Hey guys! On Becker there are progress exams. Go to A6 from the calendar (Must have a study plan), scroll all the way down and click progress tests. This will allow you to either take a progress exam for all the sections together or each section separately. The only thing that they didn't transfer over from the previous system was the study guides, which I printed off from the old site. Good luck guys and gals!

    I generally finish one section a day (~8 hrs/day) then I do the hw for each section (~4-6 hrs/day) then I do progress tests, first with each section by itself and then two together and then all of it together (100 questions is ~1hr up to three times a day) that takes about 4 weeks of M-F and then I hit practice exam on the weekend (~1.5-2hrs) the next week I do a complete progress exam with all sections for 100 questions per day. That Saturday I do the second practice exam. The following Monday I take the real exam and it hasn't failed me yet.

    Breakdown for Audit:
    WK 1:
    Days 1-6: Watch lectures and make notes/highlight (~6-8 hrs each day)
    Sunday I take off after the lectures
    WK 2:
    M-F: HW and light reading for areas I feel deficient
    WK 3:
    M-Sa: Progress exams for each individual section (1 per day)
    WK 4:
    M: Progress exam section 1-2 (100 MCQs:~1 hour)
    T: Progress exam section 3-4 (100 MCQs:~1 hour)
    W: Progress exam section 5-6 (100 MCQs:~1 hour)
    Th-Sa: Repeat M-W above (take notes on areas you show weakness)
    WK 5:
    M-F: Progress exam all sections together (100 MCQs:~1 hour)
    Sa: Practice Exam (study sections showing weakness)
    WK 6:
    M-F: Progress exam all sections together (100 MCQs:~1 hour)
    Sa-Su: Relax and take it easy (cramming doesn't work for me.
    WK 7:
    M: Take exam.

    I'm using GLEIM right now, first time taking an exam with it – all I can say so far is that the presentation is similar to the of the examination, the questions aren't as long and drawn out as becker. What im liking about GLEIM so far is that it uses questions from previous chapters while testing for another chapter (I'm on unit 5 and it throws in my flagged questions from unit 1) I really like that, less pressure when I come to my final review.

    Any one taking the exam on April 1st?

    Also, my prometric confirmation states 4:30 mins for the exam and from my understanding its meant to be 4 hours for the exam plus a 15 minutes break.

    @QueenCPA

    They always do that considering 30 mins you should show up before your exam time.

    @alphAccountant

    Good luck and please post your experience with the new exam after taking it:)

    All the best. How did it go with the Evidence chapter. This is where I struggle most.

    Hey guys!!

    Unfortunately I have to retake AUD, after 4wks of cramming I ended up with a 72, don't know if it was just luck tho… I used Becker and have ninja notes, audio and recently got MCQs. I think my problem with supplementing Becker with Ninja, is that the chapters/ subjects don't necessarily align the same, does anyone have the same issue or is this just me?

    Hey, I'm new to this group and I would love to have a study partner. I'm in the DMV (District of Columbia/Maryland/Virginia).
