Hi All

any feedback on Aud-2017 after syllabus changes and also any one took the exam Please provide feedback that will help us.

I just took AUD on April 7th. Started studying at the very end of January (It's more than enough time, I just like to leave myself plenty of time). I used primarily Becker and Ninja MCQ in my last couple of weeks. Ninja is an amazing review tool, I haven't used it as a primary source. For Becker, I listened to lectures in my car, then did MCQ, Skills Practice and SIMS. I try to read the book after I have done all that as well. If not, I re-read the book during my review. In the last 3 weeks, I went through the text, made my own notes, more flashcards, and went through the entire Ninja testbank for MCQ and SIMS. I also did Becker Progress Tests in different combinations of chapters on a daily basis. I studied about 3 hours on a weekday and anywhere from 3-6 hours on the weekend, but not every weekend, as I have family obligations.

I am starting to study for my audit retake. I had a feeling I passed last time but ended up failing pretty bad (68) I will be retaking it in 3 weeks.

im retaking too. 73 the first time. ive put in a shit load of study time in since the first attempt. if i dont pass, this shit is rigged or im stupid or both.

Wow Moose!! I took it back in March and failed with 72 and took in Nov got 74. Im retaking too in May and I feel like y'all are so much more productive since u guys are all taking it soon.. Im scheduled for last week of May. Now I'm not sure if I even need to move it up. But I haven't been studying since March due to the work load/ tax season. Should be picking back up this weekend after 4/15.. Finally.

Just hope I still got most of the stuff in my brain somewhere.

Moose, may I ask how you are going to tackle this in 3 weeks? I feel like that isn't enough time. Unless you have been reviewing this whole time. Anyways, I wish you the best and knock this one out of the ballpark!

Took REG yesterday. Starting AUD tomorrow for the 31st of May. Hopefully 50~ days is enough.

Hello All!

Just completed my Audit Exam and whooop- this seems like a fail!

The MCQs were actually manageable like the normal MCQs, you know some and you don't know some. Definitely noticed an increase in difficulty on the second test-let but not withstanding, it was doable!

Now the SIMs! Omg, throughout the exam, I kept regretting why I had not done this exam before this change. FYI, the AL is not a solution with this new exam! It couldn't help me for ANY of the sims! They were all subjective and I had to guess on all of them!

@Iwannabecpa I squeezed all four parts into one NTS so I am pushing myself to study as much as I can. I study for about 5 hours a day mostly focusing on the MC and Sims. I am also planning on buying Ninja mc next week and go all out. I hope it works, good luck to you.

@QueenCPA my experience was the same last time I took it. MC were fair. SIms were ridiculous. AL did not help at all other than the research question. Luck plays a role as well, some people gets sim that can be easily answered through AL, and some of us gets JE and calculations where we have no clue what's happening.

@QueenCPA were there any sims at all that were comparable to the ones you see in Ninja or Wiley or becker or whatever?

This material is miserable.
