Not enough time to read through all 12 pages of this blog so apologies if this has been asked. Does anyone know how much International Auditing standards will be involved in the exam. While there seems to be minimal coverage in Becker you never know. Are we looking at a FAR saturated scenario or is minimal coverage.

Should not be much international on there. Just 5-10 main topics covered in the prof. res. module (in the Wiley book).

    FAR - 10/3/12 - 86
    BEC - 11/27/12 - 70 1/14/13 - 81
    AUD - 4/4/13 - 87
    REG - 7/8/13 - 80

It's so ironic that the first section that I took, and fortunately passed, was Auditing in Feb 2011. And yet it is the last section I have to take to be done with the wretched exam.

    AUD 2/2011 76 (lost credit), 2/2013 71, 7/2013 78
    REG 2/2012 82
    BEC 2/2013 75
    FAR 4/2013 75

5 years in private accounting, < 1 year in public accounting. Runner, mommy, dog and cat lover. SO glad I took the exam before I went to public accounting.

Taking AUD in a bit over 2 hours.

Hopefully 2 weeks of studying was enough…

    What do you guys think?

So I'm back for Round 2.

    Took AUD Apr 18th. Got a 65.

The weird part is that I was scoring extremely well on Becker and Wiley HW questions. I dunno'. I used 2 and 1/2 weeks of full-time studying to take this exam so perhaps cramming it within a short period of time knocked me out, but… it's all so confusing.

I was getting 75-90% on my Becker questions and 70%-85% on my Wiley questions. Did about 500-600 MCQ's for Wiley and probably much more for Becker. Had my Ninja Notes. Had the Audio. Wasn't enough.

So now I plan on taking it early July with the new changes. Fun, fun, fun. Not sure how I'm going to prepare for it this time around since I was so sure that I was going to do well the 1st time around.

    FAR: 50, 76!
REG: 74... (ouch baby, very ouch), 76!
    AUD: 65, 91!?
    BEC: 80! Aaaand doneskies!

    May 2012 to August 2013. Can't believe it's over.

Taking Audit on May 31st, last day of the window. Just started studying this week using CPAexcel and Bisk textbook, I work full time so don't have much time left to study. Anybody out there had experience with CPAexcel? I feel like the textbook is too simplified.

    FAR- 73; 76-Feb.2014( Praise God!!!!!!!)

    Inferno,

If you took Audit 4/18, how are you sitting for it again in May?

Dodged a freaking bullet today. The testing center was having technical difficulties so I couldn't take my exam. Fortunately, they were able find availability at a site nearby for tomorrow. Really lucky because virtually everywhere else was booked through the month.

    F - 86
    R - 90
    A - 97
    B - 91

Okay, someone please help me out asap!! Please teel me if the following is correct regarding an attestation review…

If there is a material misstatement found, the auditor must report directly on the subject matter-not the assertion

If you report on the subject matter, you provide negative assurance…if you report on the assertion you restrict the use of the report…

This just doesn't sound right. Can someone please help me understand???

amordiva….we are sitting for Audit on the same day. Thanks for the great Mnemonic: [FANATICS-LOVE-APE]. After I saw it I added it to my audio recordings. May come in handy!!! Good luck and stay in touch.

@amordiva– your FANATICS LOVES APES mnemonic appears to be incorrect– more than half of those items do impair independence… if I'm not mistaking (just reviewed Becker today, don't have my notes in front of me though) everything after “FANAT” does…
