hippyCPAMemberSO I am taking AUD next Saturday and am still reviewing, eek I am behind!! I seem to be having a hard time keeping all of the transaction cycles/assertions straight. Does any one have any tips or tricks??
AUD: 74, 74 AGAIN!!!!, Retest Aug 2013

gobiasMemberI'm pretty sure that I will not understand transaction cycles by my test date. I'm considering giving up on it to focus my review on the other chapters and make sure I'm strong enough on them to make up for my weakness on cycles.
Does anyone that's taken AUD think this is possible?

AnonymousInactiveHas anyone heard from the good ole State of Maryland on the current test window? Took AUD 4/8/2013
Gobias / HiipyCPA – Yes this is possible. I would recommend understanding the assertions and using common sense if it is questioned pertaining to a cycle. If you do have time, try and learn the key cycles.

ready2baCPAMemberHello, I'm new to the forum. I used Yaeger for FAR and I took it twice. I'm thinking of switching to another review course for audit because I've heard Yaeger is not that good for auditing. Any suggestions?

xdesixParticipant@gobias I think it's possible. That's pretty much the part where I struggled with in Auditing as well. I would say having a general idea would be good, but don't fret over it too much if you aren't understanding the big picture.
@ready I've heard good things about gary. Some people say he is boring, but he does know his stuff. I am personally taking Roger and he is very entertaining if you care about that at all. He's a pretty good teacher as well.

JournhiMemberIm taking my AUD on may 9th. Im freaking out and things are all jumbling in my head. Can some help distinguish when i should look to SSAE vs SAS? I know SAS govern quarterly review and compilation of non-issuer. And SsAE is for attest services for non-issuer. So what about annual audit for non-issuer?

JMemberHi all… I guess I'll be joining this group now that I have completed REG… hopefully 3 weeks is enough (I actually started studying for a week or so back in March only to decide to do REG first instead). Anyway, this is certainly the least intriguing material for me. I'm looking forward to being done already!

lbi18Member@Journhi – SAS covers annual audits of nonissuers. And remember, SSARS is what covers reviews and compilations for nonissuers.
