AnonymousInactive.75,
My score report was also really screwy. I was ‘Weak' on every MCQ, and ‘Strong' on SIMs and an overal 73. It makes very little sense because I know that I got killed on the SIMs and I felt OK with the MCQs. Basically, don't put a lot of stock in the Score Report.
If you have a Wiley book, I'd recommend going over the SIMs they offer. They're not nearly as tricky as the actual exam, but they're definitely good practice. CPAReview4Free.com also has some legit SIMs for $10.

.75 CPAParticipantCasey, that's crazy that you got weaker on MC (60%) of the exam and got a 73. I got stronger on MC and got a 69. What is wrong with the AICPA????

AnonymousInactiveIs anyone else having issues with the Becker Final exams for AUD? I finish the first testlet and there is no button for continue exam. It's only review testlet or quit exam. I emailed Becker a few days ago, haven't heard anything. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm on a Macintosh running Chrome.

ZaqParticipantJust finished taking REG this morning. Getting ready to buckle down into AUD. Goal is to pass within 2-3 weeks of studying. I start my new job Apr 22 so if I can knock out AUD before I start that would be terrific.

Jimmy520MemberThe AICPA Code of Professional Conduct's general standards include all of the following except:
a.Sufficient relevant data.
b.Planning and supervision.
c.Due professional care.
d.Internal control
Isnt a b and d all standards of fieldwork? PIE mnemonics. planning, internal control, and evidence?
Answer is D, can anyone explain? :/

AnonymousInactiveYour question is asking about General Standards which is the mnemonic TIP, not PIE. It's asking which of those is not a General Standard. Internal Control is a Standard of Fieldwork. So is Planning and Supervision though so that answer too should be correct. So I'm not really sure. Maybe it's a bad question?
April 2, 2013 at 8:15 pm #414611
Jimmy520MemberI know it's asking for the TIP, I was saying that 3 choices fall under the PIE standards. That why I wasn't sure. I'm leaning towards it's a bad question.

AnonymousInactiveI keep confusing “Required Supplementary Information” with “Other Information”.
Can anyone help me set this straight? Thanks!
April 2, 2013 at 8:36 pm #414613
AnonymousInactiveI think you are correct Jimmy, B & D are 100% Standards of Fieldwork and not General Standards. It's got to just be a bad question.

Journey to FateParticipanthelp a71 fam!
when do you/do you not refer to the other (prior auditor)? i seem to always get confused when to refer and when not to refer, including division of responsibility, etc.
BEC- 67, 69

MintsRGoodParticipant@ JTF If you don't mention the other auditor then you assume responsibility for the entire audit, but you must have the other auditor's permission to mention them in the report. If you mention the other auditor (with permission) reference the division in the intro and opinion paragraphs.
Good Luck! 🙂
