I’m using Ninja’s MCQ and SIMS. I’ve went over the MCQ bank twice scoring low – mid 80s. Almost half way through the sims and I’m average maybe 40-60%?

Advice? Tips?

I also have a question regarding AUD SIMS if anyone can answer it.

For anyone who has taken the exam, did the Authoritative Literature help you a lot with any questions you may have been stuck on? Or should I focus heavily (approx. 2 days) going over a ton of SIMS so I don't have it in my mind that the AL will pull me out of a jam.

AL can be helpful, but you should in no way ever count on it to bail you out. Do moar practice SIMS!

The only time the AL/Codification really helped me was in FAR, and that was because I found an EXAMPLE of the exact entry I needed to write 😀 Took me a while to find it though (10 min).

To OP: my advice is to do as many MCQ's and SIMS as possible. Sure, eventually you will memorize the answers as you see the same questions over and over and over… but what was most helpful to me was reading the answer explanations behind the ones on which I repeatedly struggled.

THIS will make you learn the concept AND get used to the fashion in which the question is asked, as opposed to reading/rereading text and writing/rewriting notes. You get to connect the vital information from the question to the process which is used to calculate the answer and you'll be ready to handle the same kind of question on exam day in an efficient manner.

Let's be honest, do you really care if you retain any of the material for longer than your exam date? Of course you will by default, but I don't remember half the stuff from my review. Sad but true.

I would not bank on any help from the AL. I did not plan on using the AL for anything but the research question and I did not look at it for any other sims during my exam. It really helped with focusing during my studying.

Others I know have found great help from the AL. For me I just tried to master concepts and not make the AL part of the equation because it would have certainly added time to my test taking.
